I was also given a couple of Lush gift sets, tons of sweets and John bought me some haircare which I can't wait to use as soon as I'm done with my Toni & Guy shampoo and conditioner!
I got the Silk Naturals version of the Naked Palette, which is gorgeous and you get almost 2x as much eyeshadow, so I'm hoping to press those into my own frankenpalette soon ... and some Ulta glitter nail polishes, and a bunch of other non-makeup stuff!
You got some great items. I love that YSL palette. I haven't tried anything from that makeup line. I love the Balm's eyeshadows but haven't tried any of their bronzers or blushes. The 227 is a nice brush. I like to use it for highlighting my cheeks and brown bone. xx
Nice haul Chrissie - love the Ginseng eye cream, Jo over at Beautilicious Love did a review which reminded me that I had a teeny sample and it is great, really awakening. Also heard good things about TheBalm - tried the TM which was a bit dark for me but great texture and coverage. Thanks for this. Jan x
@Aofie I love the blush! Double points for packaging too.
@socialitedreams I really want to try the 88 palettes! I'd buy one from eBay but I'm so worried it would smash in transit :(
@eRIN Sounds like you got some really awesome stuff! How're Ulta's polishes?
@Alicia I LOVE the 227! Great for lazy days when I can't be bothered to blend properly too. The YSL swatches so nicely, I'm going to have to do a look with the green. It's stunning.
@Jan I'm so glad you're back! Adore GinZing. It's helping A LOT. Will need to post a review soon. It's making me want to explore more Origins products. Any recs?
I love The Balms stuff. Mostly for the packaging, but the products are really good quality too!
