NOTD: Rimmel Ash Rose

When I first put this on the first thing John said and I thought was it's not very "me" - it's not ugly-pretty and it's not obnoxiously bright or unusual. I thought about removing it and putting it in the pile of stuff to give away but this morning I woke up and saw it in sunlight and it's very very beautiful. It's muted elegance - something I've never posessed.



Ash Rose is a lovely tawny pink and is perfect for everyday. I think it'd look great on toes too; especially if you're pale.

NOTD: Models Own Champagne & Barry M Nail Effects

I got to play around a little more with Nail Effects and coupled it with Models Own Champagne. I'm glad this didn't sell in my blog sale!

Mimi update:

Growing for sure. We're getting her spayed soon. She and Reggie get on so well now, they even curl up and sleep together. She gets jealous when I'm making a fuss of Reggie and comes and sits in my lap.

NOTD: No7 Totally Teal

I love these petrol blue colours. A bit of a dark turquoise.



I've cut my nails right down recently. For some reason, they're not as healthy as they used to be and are starting to split and flake again. Not cool! Any advice?

I actually quite like them a bit shorter but they make my hands look that little bit more chubby!
